Hi, we have an old GAF SS805 Super 8mm Synchronized Sound Movie Camera. The camera is missing the battery, the charger and the rubber eyepiece has deteriorated (fallen apart) and missing. There were no instructions or manuals with part specifications given to us with this camera. Does anyone have any detailed info on it? We would like to put it up for sale, but haven't been able to test it to see if it works.

Many thanks,
Betty S.

hi Betty, sorry to say, but even if the camera works perfectly it's worth next to nothing. That's just my opinion, maybe someone would offer to buy it, but I doubt it. [Frown]

Hi, Joe

Didn't think it was worth much, but would like to know a bit more about it (approximate age, battery & other requirements, etc.).

Thanks for your reply

Betty

Betty,
GAF movie products do not have a good reputation at all, they were basically cheap products aimed at the mass market thru Kmart and other department stores. I don't think it is worth much at all, particularly as Kodak sound striped camera film is no longer made, maybe $10.00 or $20.00 tops. Sorry! [Frown]
