I have just purchased a Fletcher Super 8 "The Hollywood Musicals" which has a faded price label marked WOOLCO £23.99.

Did Woolworth's sell movies or did the sticker just get stuck on it by accident? It certainly looks genuine.

In North Carolina, USA, Woolco did sell Ken Films in the 70's. I remember them selling the 200' color/sound version of "Star Wars" for $32.88.

Yes, I remember a Woolworth's in Bowling Green, Kentucky, selling the Ken digests.

Oh yes, same in Long Branch New Jersey and the surrounding towns. They had the Sears, Wal-Green, 2 Guys, Korvettes, WT Grant, Newberry's and Woolworth stores which had their seal (label) on those films and that of Blackhawk, Castle and more - Bargain bins of $5 or less, also many old DECCA and CORAL LPs under one dollar, practically giveaways really. I got some from those stores still with the label intact to this day; code store and stock #s - Fascinating - Shorty
