So the saga continues.
I opened the switch, and I found what must be the problem- one of the contacts on the rocker mechanism was burnt almost off. There must've been a big short at some point, because there's a big burn mark and most of that contact is gone, it's definitely not bridging the two connectors anyway- I'm surprised the fuse and/or lamp never blew.
So I need to replace one of those contacts. Any suggestions/anyone ever made a repair like this before?? I've been trying to think of something to use, but it has to be sturdy because it gets flicked back and forth.
