I have the 4 x 400 ft copy of Island of Terror. I bought it from a film library that was closing in Plymouth in the early 80's Colour wasn't terribly good when I bought it, not sure what it's like now as I haven't run it for a few years.

It has the scene that was removed for the DVD release - of Peter Cushings hand been cut off.

Didn't they do another film at the same time titled 'Night of the Big Heat' filmed at the same locations? That was a wonderful turkey with the infamous line "I've found his body... he's dead!". And those dreadful aliens that looked like washing up liquid bubbles!

Happy new year chaps!!

Yes that was the one mainly set in a pub with Sid James and David Lodge.

This was also released by Derann as a full feature 10 reels in both colour and b+w.

It was NOTHING BUT THE NIGHT released by Powell on a 1600 superspool but the print was black and white instead of colour so I passed on it.

Good value @ 40 quid though!!
