I have a YELCO MODEL P-1118 film projector that was my late Fathers , can anyone tell me what it is worth ?
I'm looking to sell it because I don't have a use for it.
I don't have any 8MM films.
The projector is in good condition and works good.
Any info would be Great.

Hi Matt,
the projector spec is quite modest and although Yelco is quite respected as a brand it's not that well known.
If I saw this on ebay I would expect it to sell between £15-40 depending on a good tail wind.
If you do sell it bear in mind that the lamp is 50w not 500w.
Points worth emphasising would be the lens is quite fast, it is dual gauge, has a variable speed control and the lamp is quite readily available,
John

20ish to 60ish Dollars.

These are reasonable in demand for video transfer because of the continuously variable frame rate. I remember an internet store years back that reconditioned Yelcos and sold them for this purpose.

I got one years ago from a friend who heard I collect Super-8. I don't use it much because it's silent, but I was pretty impressed by the ruggedness of it.
