I am new to all this so, I would like your help with the above mentioned Agfa projector. Although, my father has been a camera collector but, sadly, he doesn't know his projectors.
I found this, Agfa Sonector 8 (may be it says 8S on it), in our store and I dont know a thing about it. What I wanna know is, was it a good projector back in its days? How good was it? What is it worth now? The case is rusty but the inside looks pretty ok.
Where can I kind more info about it? How do I restore it?

Omar,
Welcome to the 8mm Forum!
According to Jurgen Lossau's book "Movie Projectors", the Agfa Sonector is worth approximately $50 US.
Now if the Agfa "Sonector-Phon" is also in that rusty case then it would be worth at least three times as much. The Sonnector-Phon is a base unit that attaches to the underside of the projector and enables the Sonector 8 to play standard 8mm sound films.
