Well, if you want to color to not fade further, yes. At least wait ten or more minutes to allow the film to come to room temperature before projecting.

As you are discovering, you can get a wealth of information from this forum, but you do need to wait for replies.

Use Google for information also. YOu will get tons of articles on most anything you search for.
