It took a slice of patience with loads of companionship to make the sound issues on my ST-1200 a thing of the past. We didn't have the energy to lubricate and screen a feature. So we can only be sure if the problem is behind us for good after we have watched a few full-features.
I have been over the past couple of posts I created soliciting help to get the projector up and running. From the posts, I understand thanks are due to Steve Klare, Jon Addams, Pasquale, Dogtor, Graham Ritchie and Winbert Hutahaean. Am pretty confident that I have all names. I know I might lose sound tomorrow and this may seem like early celebration, but I may as well thank everyone when I'm feeling grateful.
Am planning on watching Way Out West or Beast of Blood tomorrow. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

It's not really tested on full features yet, Steve! Let me watch a few films and I'll update.
The free service manual on this forum was a huge help. With such manuals I believe many projectors can be fixed.
I'd bought five projectors for $60 on the fourth of January and this was one of them. I've only been working on the ST-1200 since. I must get to the others soon.
