I have one of these machines (well the Pallas SMP400 version - also sold as a Rony MP-400 or Yelco MP-400) and at the end of the unit (opposite end from the lens) there is a socket for plugging a cable connecting to a tape deck.
I don't have instructions for this machine - can anyone explain how the projector/tape machine communicate?
The connection socket seems to have a three pin connection although only two seem to be wired inside the projector

Jim

That sounds like a DIN connector. They may have 3-5 pins and only use 2 of them. If that is the case, then you will have to make a patch cord to run the audio. Use the DIN connector on one end and whatever connector you need on the other end. My guess since it is only using 2 pins and not being stereo one is hot and the other is ground. Now, if it is stereo then 1 is right channed and 2 is left channel. The ground would be the metal ring of the plug. [Wink]

Thanks Pat,
I thought it was a variety of DIN connector, now I'll sweet talk a friend who's got a soldering iron...
