http://www.ebay.co.uk/i tm/Super-8mm-colour-sound-film-PART-2-Master-Commander-SCOPE-/140926292556?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_OtherFormats_GL&hash=item20cfdc924c

Some of you will recall how i had a problem with this guy as a buyer who bid on this item i listed and won for the price of £40ish and when i sent it claimed he it had "a disastor of sound" with stripe coming off,(which was bollocks) and then tried to threaten me with being forced refunded via paypal etc, dispite a goodwill gesture by me of giving back £12 the C*** has now listed the same for £39 and is stating very good condition with no mention of his made up fault,he is apparantly registered on here so i hope hes reading this, wot an asshole [Mad] clearly this part of the film has very little action so i suspect he was a bit dissapointed, thankfully i still have the best part, part 5 which is all action and the best part of the film,

Hi Tom,
What a perfect example of when film collecting goes bad. All the good things that film can bring us are spoiled by these kinds of situations. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. It's the kind of thing I could well have been interested in, but now you've pointed out the history, I'll stay well clear. Ebay might not give us the chance to comment on shoddy buyers, but it's great to be able to see the forum still can. Are you selling Part 5?

hi Ron, im going to keep hold of pt 5 as it is action packed and a is a great souvienere of the film, my next step may be to report this buyer as he went thru the resolution centre to report this as faulty and tried to force a full refund with both ways postage, now a month later he's selling it as good for more than he actually paid.unreal.

all done, itl be interesting to see if they pull it, if its faulty, and in the state he claimed, this should be on his listing but as we can all see the guy is a fraud.

This is shocking - it's good that you have discovered it and advised eBay of the truth. I don't suppose they will, but the best thing they could do is insist that he repays you the refund.

That's a shame.. Thats why I don't buy or sale on ebay anymore because of this reason and a million other reasons. Blogs, Facebook advertising, Forums like this and independent websites are where I make most of my purchases. It gives me a better understanding of who I am buying from and it is much easier to interact with each other... 85% of the time or better you will get the quality you are described by the seller. My daddy always said "don't buy nothing you can't touch" in this day & age with so much to offer, and from a world wide audience... That saying is almost obsolete. Wish me luck and I shall do the same for you that we don't fall into grasps of deceitful transactions and shady people.

True, and i think between members on the forum if a purchase wasnt quite up to what was wanted im sure 99% of the time an agreement would be made, i'll certainly never ever make any goodwill gestures like the one i did with this prick again, my listings will aleays be made more than clear, no refunds no warranty and if there is a fault or a problem i always say so in the listing so there is no way a buyer can complain.
A great example of an honest listing is the 3 x 400ft of exorcist curruntly on there, the guy says three times faulty sound and then later says "did i mention that this is faulty, i think its done in such a good and humerous way you really dont mind and you know what your going to buy (if you bid).

Yea... lol Sometimes in ebay descriptions there too honest. I do have a few sellers that I deal with when I buy my vinyl because I have bought from them throughout the past the description is spot on and the corresponding communications is excellent. I stopped selling on ebay 5-6yrs ago. Not very often but often enough I was getting hammered with grading descriptions or just some A-hole looking for the special cut on price and sometimes getting a full refund through paypal and keeping the product then on top of all that a negative feedback war! Gees I don't miss it.
