Hi All,

I`ve just given my Eumig It`s once a year play.
Absolutely perfect, I bought this some ten years age from
Lee`s Cameras in Holborn, It was pretty expensive £345.00 then
and I think it was used for cine transfers because I`ve done the same and there no flicker issues, I`ts handy for standard 8 sound
although it will do both, It`s the only ST 8 sound projector I have, although it`s not my favorite, It still a good work horse.
My point is how do these things keep going after so many years?
Any way I just thought I`d let you know.
James.

The Eumig 800's really are very robust little machines that have no fragile plastic parts that can crack and fall off. The two major long term problems with these machines are sound head wear and slippage of the ball-disc drive. If you have a spare head and can fix the slippage problem by treating the rubber drive discs, these machines will undoubtedly provide capable service for another 30 years or more.
