Does anyone have a clue where to find this drivebelt ..... Or have an alternative idea ???

That is a tough one. The first 18-5 projectors, with the red control knob, had just one flat belt. Later, they switched to the three belt set-up and sold a conversion kit. I am not aware of where the flat belt can be purchased. I hope you can find one.

I recall of one solution whereby the three round belts are glued together and substituted for the flat belt.

I have produced them several times in very small batches.
Flat rubber belts had been needed for carry out repair on those 18-5 earlier production dates. I`ll find out whether still one belt is in stock for you.

I know this is an old post, but I ran across someone that needs a belt. Are their any updates where he can purchase one?
