David,
Nice to see your name on the forum, but I'm afraid you might be out of luck with a F/L print of "True Grit" as I've never seen a copy for sale new or used in the U.K., plenty of the well edited (except for an abrupt begining) 3x400 version, and I've been in this 'game' a long time. If any of our U.S. members have seen it, or own a copy, then perhaps they could let us know what the quality is like. I have seen F/L prints of titles like "Crack In The World" & "When Worlds Collide" but never "True Grit". The other 2 titles do crop up, so don't worry you'll find them sooner or later.

thanks barry for message - I know via an 1980 copy of movie maker that - capital film distributors of st albans dealt with the range of universal 8 digests and features and in his then christmas round-up - bill davison quoted that among the full features available was True Grit - so i wonder if someone over here did actually buy a copy - how many did they release etc - and i'm still looking for Angels with dirty faces - full length, the creeping flesh - 4x400ft and star wars full length - of course these have to be in mint condition- cheers
