dear Barry - you mention that apart from a brief opening - the cut down 3x400ft of true grit is good - can you give me further details - like does it contain the stand off between john wayne and robert duvall and his group of outlaws and that famous ride - cheers

David,

Yes all of those great sequences are there, intact I think, that may be the reason it starts a bit abruptly as the Marketing editor got in as many key sequences as he could and make the storyline flow. I must admit that once you get over the abrupt begining, the 3x400' digest is very good indeed.
