This is one of biggest longshots in the world ....

But does anyone have a Close Encounters of the third kind (scope) that they's like to part with?

Sorry, Osi. I couldn't part with mine. That leaves the remaining 18 or 19 other prints.......

Osi,

I have seen one print for sale of "Close Encounters" it was at a BFCC a couple of years back, he wanted £500, and by the end of the day it had gone from his stall, so on very rare occasions one might come up, but if it does, then you'll know roughly the price you might have to pay!

Yeah, it is the last of the "Big Dollar" super 8's I'd be willing to pay a decent amount for. That's what nolstalgia for any certian title will do. It's that magical time in my youth when the cinema was really the only thing that kept me from putting a bullet in my brain. (That's not trying to be shocking, but going to the movies really did keep me from some rather drastic decisions and circumstances. Much better these days, and not just because of collecting again.)
