Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a super 8 copy of 'Holiday' directed by John Taylor in 1957?

http://www.7digital.com/stores/productDetail.aspx?shop=286&pid=78496

I am also after any similar films on Blackpool.

Many thanks.

Hello Den,

Derann still sell this film new but unfortunately it is only a 200ft edited version which is about half the length of the original. It has been mentioned there was a full length version many years ago but Ive never seen it.

Hope this helps

I have the 200' and I hadn't realised that it was edited, so I'd recommend it if you don't mind the shorter running time. Nice print with very good colour. Derann may also still offer the BTF film 'Lancashire Coast' which is hopefully complete as it's on a 400' reel, and this includes some Blackpool content.

I also have the 200 and also like it a lot, but the original which you can buy on dvd runs for 18 mins.
