I am looking for this elusive Super 8mm sound feature rumored to have been released in the seventies. If anyone can point me in the direction of THE ATOMIC SUBMARINE, I would appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.
Brian

Brian,

The 4x400' The Atomic Submarine was released by Mountain Films. I just sold my print at the May Wildwood Film Collectors Convention. The print is fair quality, with occasionally muddy sound. Mountain also released a 400' version.

I have had this film for many years. It is an excellent little Sci-Fier full of nostalgic old names, and is a rare non western, non serial directed by Spencer Bennet. Mind you that the Mountain copy is shortened by about two minutes, missing the two women listed in the credits, one of them being the delectable Joi Lansing! Thunderbird also released this film and its copies are complete.

That's why everyone has to come to these shows John's mounting, never know what can be had - Speaking of which, if anyone wants to trade or buy my films, let me know and I'll either deal here or bring them to Wildwood - Slipping Wives would be nice - Or a Mountain Films brochure - Shorty
