Ken Films indeed released Empire on 2 x 400'. They are self contain. They are not rare, esp. in Ebay Germany.

Yes but i've been told to search only for a Dec. 1982 ken film leader as its a low fade stock while others fade to death.

PS : Winbert are you from Indonesia? If so I like 80's horror indonesian films like Mystics in Bali and Lady Terminator - really cool rip-off cult hits. [Big Grin]

I think for Empire part 2 will be on low fade by default since this was released near to the end of 8mm era. But I might be wrong.

Hi Moshe, yes I am Indonesian. Those films you mentioned are really B-Movies or probably Z-movies in Indonesia film scene.. [Big Grin]

They were not screened on mainstream cinema chains but more in rural areas.

I knew there is a weird development since 10 years ago there are people joining from around the world to talk about Indonesian B-movies, the so-called "thrash films". Some original video tapes are even going to be $$$ sold on Ebay.

Winbert ....

Your partially right, Empire 2 did go out on LPP more than part 1, which is MUCH harder to find on LPP or any other low fade stock. I do know for a fact that it made it onto LPP, but this was the December 1982 print run, (which turned out to be the last print run of this title by Ken Films).

You mean of Empire, Moshe? Because I did get Star Wars (though sadly not the 1977 version, but the 1996 one) and I paid about 80 dollar for that. If I am lucky, I'll get the Empire and Return for the same price. I know after the summer is over, crossing my fingers for it to go through. And Star Wars has awesome colors
