“DOLLARS AND SENSE” (Keystone Cops, 1916) A country girl and a foppish Englishman inherit an estate, and the terms say that it can't be divided. The terms also state that the two must get married, and if one refuses, and then the other gets the entire estate. *“A FOOL THERE WAS” (Theda Bara, Edward Jose, 1915) Bara plays a vamp who uses her charms to seduce and corrupt a moral Wall Street lawyer, John Schuyler (Edward Jose). * “COPS” (Buster Keaton) (1922) Buster’s girl gives him the air until he can prove himself to be a good business man. In the process he accidentally steals a family’s every possession, sets off a bomb and runs from every cop in the city. This is deservedly one of Buster’s most famous and beloved silent comedies. * “HIS NEW JOB” (Charles Chaplin, Billy Armstrong, Agnes Ayres, 1915) Charlie Chaplin has a new job as a carpenter on the set of a movie. But when one of the actors is fired, Charlie is given a chance to act but instead enters a dice game. When he does finally act he ruins the scene, wrecks the set and tears the skirt from the star. The stooges manage to disrupt the proceedings but save the day when they discover the real murderer's identity. * “THE DENTIST” (1932, W.C. Fields, Marjorie Kane, Arnold Gray) An unconventional dentist deals with patients in slapstick fashion. * “THROUGH AIR AND FIRE” 1914 movie serial opening chapter of The Perils Of Pauline - Through Air and Fire (or Trial by Fire) As released by Blackhawk Films, Two 400 foot B&W Super 8mm Silent Reels in a unique cardboard box which contains a 7 by 7 inch illustrated ad for the BLACKHAWK BULLETIN printed on the inside of the box. “WAY OUT WEST” (Laurel and Hardy, James Finlayson, 1937) Stan and Ollie are charged with delivering the deed to a valuable gold mine to the daughter of a dead prospector. However they reckon without the machinations of her evil guardian Mickey Finn who is determined to have the gold mine for himself and his saloon singer wife Lola. Featured: “The Trail of the Lonesome Pine”, “We’re Going to Go Right Down to Dixie” and “At the Ball” -- the little song sung during the timeless dance routine from Laurel & Hardy. * “WITH LOVE AND HISSES” (Laurel and Hardy, James Finlayson, 1927) Slow-witted army private Cuthbert Hope (Laurel) manages to makes life miserable for his gruff Top Sargeant Banner (Hardy). Banner must also report back to firm Captain Bustle (Finlayson). This rare short featuring Laurel & Hardy was made before the duo was listed as a team. One Standard 8mm, Silent B&W, 400 foot reel. * “TILLIE’S PUNCTURED ROMANCE” (Charles Chaplin & Marie Dressler, Mable Normand, Mack Swain, 1914) Charlie talks wealthy farmer's daughter Tillie into eloping with him (and taking her father's money). In the city Tillie gets drunk and lands in jail while Charlie runs off with her money and his old girlfriend Mabel. Later Charlie reads that Tillie (now working as a waitress) has inherited the estate of her multi-millionaire uncle. Charlie dumps Mabel and talks Tillie into moving into her uncle's villa, and Mabel arranges to become a housemaid there.
