Am going to be selling my ST1200HD. Magnetic only with Elmo f1.1 zoom lens. This is in superb condition with spool, mic, instructions and original Elmo hard carry case.
Been serviced with new belts etc and is also a world wide multi-voltage machine. Also supplied with 2 spare xenophot lamps.
Email me direct if interested otherwise it goes on ebay in a weeks time.

Kev.

Jan well spotted, No it will have the 1.1 lens and it's the magnetic only version. Just edited the thread. Thanks Jan and Antonio.

Drool. [Eek!] If only I could find a 1.1 lens by itself! I would buy your projector if I didn't have one already [Roll Eyes]

The 1.1 lenses do turn up on ebay from time to time. Keep a search going on ebay for "Elmo".

And you'll get zillions of Sesame Street related products! [Wink]

Try "Elmo Lens" instead, and bookmark the index pages of each of the categories in which the much sought-after item could pop-up (film, projection equipment, etc.)

Good thinking Jean-Marc. I have a search for Elmo set up in the Photography section and this works well.

BTW folks the ST1200HD has now been sold. [Smile]

Thanks for looking, Kev.

Yeah, I ran into the Sesame Street thing way back in the beginning, too [Roll Eyes] You're right, though, the 1.1 lenses do show up now and then - I'd completely forgotten that this guy 'moonbathing' was selling one just a few weeks ago, but it was much too expensive. If I recall correctly, the reserve was never even met. I, for one, just can't fathom spending more on a lens than the entire projector! [Eek!]

(Incidentally, I once asked in a separate post about adapting my Schneider-Kreuznach Xenovar 1:1.2 to the ST1200HD's lens holder but never got a reply. ... Ahem.)

Jan: Have you tried CHC? They make adaptor sleeves for this kind of situation. Send Phil Sheard an email, he might be able to help.

Jan,
If you are interested in an 1.1 lens mint condition, pm me for details.
I've got one for sale, which I was thinking to put on ebay.
Best regards,
Dimitris

Thanks Jean-Marc [Smile] I've fired off an email to CHC and, well, here's hoping for a positive response.

Thanks to you as well, Jean-Marc [Big Grin] (subtle pun at the double posting here)

Dimitrios: check your PM [Smile]
