There is sound film for cameras coming apparently. This suggests you haven't purchased "Small Format" yet.
The inventor of the Supermag 400 Super 8 film magazine has received word from FIPRA in Germany that they can stripe Kodachrome meaning he can purchase stock from Kodak and send it to FIPRA for striping. The stripe has survived the processing chemicals meaning sound film will be available again. You'll just need a camera that accepts the old top loading Kodak 200 foot cartridge and the new Supermag 400.
So now you know. Time to subscripe to the new cine journal "Small Format" eh?
