I have up for sale an excellent motorised sound film editor. This model is the Goko RM-5000. As film editors go, this ranks up there with some of the finest including the Elmo range.

600ft reel capacity.
Flicker free image via 16 face glass optical prism.
Nice sound from internal speaker.
64 page operation manual.
Dust cover.
Virtually silent in operation, just to name some of the functions this editor has.
If anyone wants the full spec for this model, please send me a PM. Or email me at craig.hamilton1(at)btconnect(dot)com

Below are some images. Please note that this is not a small unit, its about the size of a portable TV & weighs around 6kg.

I am open to any reasonable, but sensible offer. As Christmas is coming & I know that funds can be tight I would therefore also consider a film in exchange, something suitable for the Kids. If no interest is shown for this editor, it will be on ebay from Sunday 27th November.

If the winner is situated within a 50 mile radius of Luton Bedfordshire, I can deliver free of charge.

No, the only Recording Stereo Editor is the Goko 8008. And the sound on that..whew! Awesome recorded sounds...

Kev will be able to correct me here but I think there is a close link between the Goko and Elmo. Certainly the 8008 has the same motor as the GS1200 and I think the soundhead as well? Kev?

Yes Tony, Goko also made the Elmo range od editors. Correction though the Motor is not the same as the GS1200 but similar. Bet if need be it could be used. The GS1200 and Sankyo 800 both have the same motor so I would expect the Sankyo 600 & 700 probably have the same motor.
Just a thought if anyone see's a scrap Sankyo then go for it for the motor. [Smile]

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

I have an Erno RE-904 Sound Editor and this one is stereo too.
The sound is very good, but the screen is (like the Goko) very small and not very good.
It's so silent, you hardly hear it's running.

[Eek!] Cool, another one to be on the lookout for. [Smile] Seems a lot of Goko-style editors were sold in Germany under the Erno name (and thus show up on eBay Germany quite a bit)...

Is the Erno a rebranded Goko? Or is it the other way around?
Apart from the metal finish of the control board, this "RE-904 NF" model looks *exactly* like the Goko 8008.

I think Erno is a Goko clone.
Take a look at the picture:

Didn't I say this in the first place? Goko editors being sold under the Erno name, etc.? [Wink]

Jan, the "Goko-style editor" part of your sentence was confusing... One can understand that Erno were selling editors that were inspired by Goko...
