Check this out on eBay. Its the Kowa which will work for both 16 & 8mm. Looks like a possibly good price too.

Well I hope its not such a nightmare anymore [Wink]

That Kowa is the tops for image quality [Smile]

and because of it's large elements will serve both formats equally well.
I have the Elmo re-badged version called the Elmoscope 16.
