Hi,
does anyone have a projector stand to sell?
Top shelf must be 48" off the ground and both ends of the shelf must be supported, as like the traditional projector stand.

Thanx,
Dave

Have a look at eBay reference 140222402230 for a Unicol projector stand which I recommend. I have one of these (badged as Bell & Howell) permanently set up in my living room. It does not take up as much floor space as one with four legs.

As I post this there are no bids. It starts at £10. I bought my stand about ten years ago and paid around £50 for it.

It's quite sturdy, and easily dismantles for carring around in the car.

Thanks Maurice,
unfortunately this is similar to the one I bought;
http://cgi.ebay .co.uk/Projector-Trolley-Mobile-Workstation-Table-Floor-Stand_W0QQitemZ190211739368QQihZ009QQcategoryZ22610QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

which is only supported in the middle. The result is that it tips when dealing with the weight of my Eumig S940.
So I need a traditional type of stand.
I see an American company (Da-lite):

do something that would be handy, but I cant afford £90 plus postage from the U.S.

The stand you illustrate is a completely different kettle of fish! Yes, it does look fragile!

But the one which I recommend is very sturdy, and very heavy. I have over 20 16mm projectors and there is no problem with any of them. It will not fall over. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Send me a PM and I'll reply with photo of my stand (which is just behind me) with an Elmo GS-1200 sitting on it. As you know it's heavier than a lot of 16mm projectors.

Hi Maurice,
lost out on that stand I'm afraid.
Still interested in a traditional projector stand if anyone can help me. Top shelf must be 48" off the ground.
Thanks,
Dave
