Although I tried some of the replacement rubber clutch wheels and shutter belts on this machine it still has a noticable 'rumble' when used at 24fps, so if anyone has a good used original Elmo 24 fps clutch roller with good rubber to sell please let me know - slightly shiny surface is OK but not cracked or cut please.

Hi Kevin Have you considered removing the shutterbelt & running it direct on the metal shutter blade edge? In many cases this can be Ok... Its hard to get a perfectly smooth shutterbelt surface so they can be noisy at speed. I have removed the belt on mine and had no problems since. Everything must be clean & dry to ensure no slip. Its worth a try if all else fails.

Hello Frank and many thanks for your suggestions.
I've owned a number of ST1200 models (all varieties) over the years and this is the only one that hasn't responded to my efforts - in all other areas she is like new but the 24fps rumble noise is noticable. I will strip her down and try again at the weekend so hopefully may crack it this time.
Still though if anyone has a good used GENUINE Elmo 24fps clutch to sell (for the HD model = double pulley type) I'd be very interested please.
