For Sale the pinch roller sound lever for Elmo GS1200

On request of some members of this forum, I built a small series of the pinch roller lever for Elmo GS1200 projector.
They are 3D-printed with black ABS plastic, with an aluminium bushing inserted, just like the original, to prevent the plastic cracking.
Now a few of these levers are on sale for those of you who didn't find an original spare part.

Price is 30 Euros + shipping cost

Please PM if you are interested.
Thanks.

Renzo

Best wishes Mark.

Well done, Renzo.
This is a part which often cracks in the earlier GS-1200 models, but later models were improved with the insertion of the brass collar.
The price is very reasonable and I urge any owners of the earlier models to invest in a spare as it will, no doubt, be needed in the future.

Thank you Mark and Maurice to support my work.
Honestly this lever price allows me to reimburse only the expenses I have had to sustain the rough materials, with no mention to the time I spent to detect all the measures from a real piece, make a 3D drawing, print a few prototypes, check they properly worked, eventually modify them and finally print a small series and refinish it by hand.
Passion is the only engine that drove me. I had a GS1200 with a broken lever and didn't find any spare part, what could I do?

If I had to do another series of levers on request, I will ask a free contribution to add to the lever cost ... [Wink]

@Jose I have just replied to your PM, Thanks!

First I want to thank who bought my GS1200 pinch roller lever, and I ask him to leave a feedback here after testing the lever.

For those who still need it, please send me a PM.
I promise I will still produce some of them as soon as I will receive at least 5 orders.

I guess I was one of the first to receive these roller pressers, so I feel I should comment on its quality - Well... there is not much to say but... just as effective as the orignal but with an added touch of dependability as the aluminium bush will prevent any problems so annoying with the original part. Ah, and the printed plastics do not look like as less resilient than the original one: actually it looks better. And the shape matches both the profile and details of the original part 100%!!! Awesome, Renzo!!!! Absolutely! Well done & congrats.
