Folks, I came into some mag striped prints that I would like to project. While the number of 16mm projectors for sale out there are nebulous, most sellers are unaware of their sound format capabilities. What are some common model numbers to look for when searching for these things? Do mag capable projectors command a higher price? Thanks in advance for all of your help...

Wade, generally, machines offering this feature display a knob marked M and O (so here's a clue for your potential sellers).

Good value for money are the Eiki halogen projectors surch as RT2, RT2, NT2, NT3, SL2 and SNT3.

Then there's the Bell & Howell 1680 (NOT 1680B or 1680G), but beware of worn out drive gears.

Most of the Bauers - but not all - from the P series.

And my favorite, the Elmo 16CL MO.

Wade - all of the Xenon Elmo models have mag sound. The drawback is they are not going to be cheap...

BTW - I can do Transfers from Mag Track 16mm film to DVD if you don't want to go to the expense of buying a mag projector.
