I've been doing some budget priced, no-frills 16mm to DVD transfers for a few people (ELMO TRV) recently and thought I'd open it up to other people.
I can transfer silent, and both optical and magnetic sound prints.
Rates are as follows
Per reel, up to 1000ft --- $25
Per reel, 1000ft to 2300ft -- $50
Plus you pay the postage both ways.
So - if you sent me two 400ft reels, it would be $50, but if you spliced them together onto a single reel, it would be $25 for both. Likewise, if you spliced 4 400ft films onto a 2000ft reel, it would be $50 (vs $100 if they're done separately).
All films must be projection ready (no repairs needed).
