I have two Eiki 3585 machines, and have found the
2 inch lens to is fine, but the 1.5 inch lens is not as great.

I am looking for a larger image due to a 14-18 foot throw.
Are there any other manufacturers with superior lenses?
Any suggestions are welcome.

I use one of the ISCO Zoom lenses which frequently turn up on Ebay US. They produce the sharpest image I've ever seen in 16mm.

The best lenses for the Eikis are the Schneider's. You can get them in 10,25,30,35mm sizes. The only problem is they are insanely expensive... I think that they cost about $2000 new. If you can find them used, they're probably $500-$1000...

Both sound great.

Are the Schneider and Isco lenses fast or slow lenses?

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.
