I'm a Super 8 guy looking at getting into 16mm. I'm looking at an Eiki NT-0 that plays optical prints. Is this the same as a super 8 projector that plays optical and magnetic prints? All you have to do is change the setting?

Scott, in 16mm the majority of prints feature optical sound. Mag sound is reserved to soundies, scopitones, home movies and conference films. On 16mm projectors that can play both sound types, it's indeed quite easy to switch from one to another (usually a simple switch). I don't remember the Nt-0 being able to play mag sound (the Nt-2 does), but I could be wrong.
