If you are looking to buy a 16mm (and possibly 8mm) projector, and look at Ebay UK, you will frequently come across the following : "untested, no mains lead and transformer", one seller had 5 or 6 projectors all with missing leads. I suppose it could happen, very careless though. Another one is "Untested, was working the last time I used it 2 years ago. Sold as seen". Simple answer; if the seller has used it before, why doesn't he just plug it in and switch on?. Gives me the impression that they know there is a fault, but you won't discover that until it arrives, and then you can't be bothered with the hassle of returning it.
