I was wondering what the last model number was produced by them?

Anyone got a list of them?

Thanks

I have a 1992/93 catalogue of "Elf Presentation Products" which gave the following:-

SLOT LOADERS
SSL/1.....£1,315
SSL/2.....£1,395
ESL/1.....£2,095
ESL/2.....£2,195

SELF-THREADING
SNT0.....£1.295
SNT1.....£1,345
SNT2.....£1,335
SNT3.....£1,795
ENT1.....£2,155
ENT2.....£2,255

XENON
EX 3500A.....£4,750
EX 5500A.....£7,250
EX 4000P.....£7,450
EX 6100......£11,750
EX 9100......£15,500

These were the recommended retail prices, but no mention was made whether V.A.T. was included. They were probably the last 16mm as the catalogue lists two video projectors.

LC 1510.....£3,375
LC 3010.....£3,400

That's fascinating information - I'd love one of those catalogues! I wonder if it was the last catalogue produced in the UK, because I believe the UK's 'Elf' offshoot closed some years before production ended in Japan (do you happen to know when Elf packed up, Maurice?). I've sometimes wondered why the superior ENTs and ESLs are so much rarer than the SNTs and the SSLs but this is clear from the massive differences in price. I'll appreciate my ENT all the more now.

Maurice - does the catalogue have any accessories such as lenses, remote controls, etc? If so, I'd love to know the price of the ENT and ESL remotes!

Adrian
There is very little in the catalogue about 16mm, only the projectors are shown, and priced. There is no mention whatsoever about any accessories. There is a great deal about audio visual but it seems to give the impression that Eiki were already washing their hands of 16mm.

Thanks Maurice. I'm not too surprised as I suppose UK 16mm sales would have seemed on their last legs around 1992. There was an unused, like new (except for a branding mark on the case) SNT-1 on eBay last week, saved from a UK school, and I don't suppose many schools made a last 16mm Elf purchase that was a model beyond the NT.

I expect sales were holding up a bit better in the USA and Germany - I recall seeing new late Eiki's on offer on the Wittner site as recently as 2005!
