Film runs fine through it, except no sound. Exciter does not seem burned. Even replaced it with a new exciter lamp. Thinking maybe a bad cap? Any other suggestions?

The 202 is now about 60 years old. It would seem impossible to diagnose no sound through this Forum without further information. Valves, resistors, capacitors, lose connections, dry joints, dirt on the optics, even silver worn off the sound mirror.

Totally concur, Maurice, as with any optical machine of that vintage. But fine machines mechanically, and great sound when working properly.

Yeah, Have to get out my meter and tube tester and go through everything with a fine tooth comb. Just thought maybe an easy fix. Still could be but, I know these amps are getting scarce. Thanks, Martin.
