Hi all,
I've purchased a B&H Diplomat projector, it looked to be in good shape from pictures.

But I forgot to ask the seller if she knew whether it would work with single perf film! Turns out, not only doesn't she know, but I've already paid and it's on its way to me now.

Will it work with single perf film? Thank you.

Greetings Christian!

I have a service manual for the B&H 173 and 273 model projectors. This includes the 173-B projector. It shows 'single perf' sprockets for both models.

Christian
Have a look at the attached link to a Bell & Howell 173B sale.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Bell-Howell-Diplomat-16MM-Projector-Model-173B-Works-Bulb-included/292295819647
You can clearly see the top sprocket only has one set of teeth on the correct side for showing single perf film.

Thank you, both. I'm sometimes prone to impulse buying.
