For sale this rare classic on 3 reels, all titles and end titles present.

Good colour throughout, 1 splice on Title no frames missing, splices at reel joints.

Reel 1 has a line on the left hand side that comes and goes for half the reel, I have shown it on the screen shots.
Reel 2 has small marks at the start.
Reel 3 has light scratches at the very beginning but thats all.

The print is clean and plays very well, sound is excellent. Not many prints of this classic come up for sale in this condition, most are faded orange.

£850 + PP

Great looking print! Any idea of the year it was struck?

The print is very sharp so I don't think it is a reduction, I don't know when the print was struck, I bought it of LOUIS FRANCHETTI in the states, he may know.

Does the leader or tail (if original) have writing along the sound track area indicating any ID or version marks (from the sound neg)or is it just optical sound 'modulation' (noise if played with volume up) where an original 35mm print would have had these markings on the sound track area?

Hi Darren here is the information you seek regarding markings along with screen shots, a document by Brian Pritchard states that Fuji prints are marked with the year and the quarter of the year of manufacture, this print is marked 76 JM. here are some screen shots of the leader.
