Bob,

I might be mistaken, however I believe that Castle's headline editions were only released in 8mm and Super 8mm, as opposed to most of the"complete" editions that had 400' 16mm releases.

Can anyone else verify this?

I've got a dozen Castle 16mm headline editions so they did make them. I'll have to dig out the catalogs to confirm the ones I'm looking for were produced.

I just bought one off eBay for HIGH FLYERS.

Bob,

My mistake, as this scan from a 1948 Castle catalog shows.

Looking through the catalogs, I see Castle stopped listing 16mm Headline editions in 1960. This would mean that The Mummy, Creature Walks Among Us and Revenge of the Creature would not be available as 16mm 100 footers since Castle released those titles later.

Doug, I just checked my catalogs and the last one to list 16mm Headline Editions is 1959.

Thanks for helping to track down that date!
