Recently got this machine for free and everything works fine except an awful grinding noise coming from the rear sprocket hinge. I opened the baby up and it ran smooth but noted that the spring that tensions the take up reel tended to give in and take the fly wheel the reel is attached to all the way up that it came into contact with the gear and that was what made the sound ... I fix that and screw it back up and the same thing happened... ARGH!!! Please help anyone that's familiar with this projector as it is lighter than my Kodak Pageant, and also brighter (1000 watt lamp vs. 750) but at this point, not better by far ... I would also like to ask if anyone has a lamp mechanism cover liying around somewhere ? Thanks again and hope you are all having a great week [Smile] !!!
