I was reading through some old magazines of late and how clever the art work was, so here are a few examples of a time sadly long past.

Thanks for posting those great covers. I'd like to build my own 9.5mm projector! Must I wear a sweater vest when I do it?

If you are interested in building a 9.5 from 1936, and it would make a fascinating project, let me no, so I can send you the details copied direct from the magazine.

PS In keeping with the era, when making the projector wearing a sweater is a must. [Wink]

Yeah!,

If they showed his kids in the picture, he'd have to be smoking a pipe too! Apparently in that era they gave new fathers a tin of tobacco and a pipe when they left the hospital, because whenever they showed a father he always had one!
