Jack Douglas, one of the stars of the Carry On films passed away this morning on the Isle of Wight. He was 81 years old. Jack will also be remembered for his portrayal of the stuttering personna of "Alf Ippititimus".
His credits included Carry On Matron, Carry On Abroad, Carry On Girls, Carry On Dick, Carry On Behind, Carry On England and Carry On Emmanuelle.
A sad loss to the Britsh comedy world.

Another stalwart of British Film & Television has sadly gone, it's been a bad week what with the sad news of Kathy Staff dying as well. He never had really big parts in the "Carry Ons" but I thought his top and tailing of Carry On Abroad in the pub scenes was really funny.
