Last night I saw "Night of the Living Dead" and "Zombie" at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood.
"Night" was a digital projection of a decent print, which still looked like film, thank God, complete with lines and soundtrack pops. But it sounded so great, I heard stuff I'd never been aware of before.
"Zombie" was an original theatrical 35mm print that had turned really pink but was still a blast to watch. How else are those of us in the States going to see these movies on the big screen?
I want to re-record my faded Niles super 8mm print of "Night" with the remastered DVD soundtrack. Is there anyone in the States who can do this for me?

Kurt, take a drive over to Burbank and see Lance Alspaugh. He is a member of this forum and does excellent work. Put his name in a member search and you will find his contact info in his profile by clicking on his name.
