I got this B&H Soundstar 1942 on ebay for 30.00 with shipping. It didn't have any lamp cover or framer cover. Nor outer cover for projector. So I decided to make my own. Thanks to Jim Schrader who sent me pictures of his I made the lamp cover. Then when I got the manual I made the framer cover and outer cover. I used fiberboard and painted it. When I get really ambitious I will form it from metal. I even copied the threading instruction and gluded them on the inside cover. It's not perfect but better than nothing. I created my own logos. Note the before (1st pic) and the after (last pic) . A fun project in all and the projector works great!
