Ladies and gentleman ...

I asked for proof, and though a one sentence statement, I am going to use that as an "easy out" ...

" A "split reel" is a motion picture film reel in two halves that, when assembled, hold a specific length of motion picture film that has been wound on a plastic core. "

Therefore ...

Micheal O Reagan, I, OSI, personally apologize for having been found wrong concerning the proper definition of a film being "cored", I'm enough of a man to be able to be wrong, as well as right.

I will therefore, change those auctions with "film is cored" on them and delete it. I need to figure out some specific way of wording it that will be descriptive so folks know exactly what they are getting.

I wish to state to the whole community, that I never knowingly meant to mis-lead a single person, nor potential buyers of my films, into thinking something erroneous. It's not the first time that I have had to change something in an auction that was mis-stated, and it probably won't be the last.

Also, a thank you to Maurice Leakey for his link and help!

also, I wish to add, PLEASE, if evidence exists that I was right about the whole "core-gate" thing, keep it to yourself! [Smile]

It's not difficult, Osi.

"Film is not on reels or on cores but has no centre. It is however wound and taped tightly"
That is exactly what they're getting.

In addition, I clearly suggested this wording to you a few days before the GWTW auction ended.

Michael,

Nothing has been deleted. I believe you're looking for another thread.
