Sad controversy about this great film. Someone claims to have written the original story board and have been copied. Here is what he says : (the first part is a text in French then the same one translated into English) http://christophevaldenaire.wordpress.com/

Also, Kim Novak was really upset that they used music from her classic Hitchcock film Vertigo in parts of The Artist.

This is criminal and very sad.

I liked the concept of the movie, but was unmoved by Bejo's acting and the soundtrack

did not match the feeling of the scenes.

It came across to me that there was a missing element that did not click.

A lifetime lost and a stolen dream.
