Dan,

Possibily a Sony recorder which was modified by Super 8 Sound to either record sync pulse or connect up with one of their modified cameras. They were/are into this and did a lot of conversion of equipment and offered post production services such as transfering that sync pulse tape to full coat for editing.

I dont really think you can tell anything from that description or even the picture. [Frown] but yes its probably a modded unit for some form sync pulse system.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.
