Are UK sellers obliged to reduce the price of an item by 17.5%, as Derann does when it sells prints outside of the UK? Would this apply to e-bay listings?

Michael the 17.5% V.A.T. will be taken off from the likes of Derann if you order from them direct, I on the other hand am only a very small legit dealer (Independent 8) and I don't do enough of a yearly turnover to be V.A.T. registered, so my listed price is what you would have to pay. eBay I'm afraid is a totally different matter, as the majority of people selling on there are just ordinary folks trying to sell goods they own, so unless you buy from a legit trader (and they state it, which is just as important), you will have to pay the face value, as we all pay V.A.T. on any sales we do through eBay U.K.
