The subject says it all... have any Monty Python features ever been released on super-8 (in full length)? [Smile]

As far as I know, only "Holy Grail" was released as an abridged version on S8.
If you need a fix, go to NY and see "Spamalot". It's a blast.

Dear Jan,

Walton brought out 2 seperate 400's from "The Holy Grail", giving a combined running time of about 34-35 minutes. The 2nd extract is a little harder to find, but it's out there, and the quality was pretty good too. It sometimes surfaces on dealers lists, or even ebay occasionlly. There is a trailer out to "The Life Of Brian", but I haven't come accross that for a while.

A Super 8mm print of a complete Python TV episode pops up on eBay every so often.

Thanks for the info, all. [Smile]

Complete Python TV episodes on super-8? That ought to be interesting; if I recall correctly those episodes were sometimes a mix of film and video - so for those to have been released on super-8 film would mean the video had to have been transferred to film for printing! ... How cool!
