This is scary, even for a tinkerer like me... but a great article, including the many detailed photos.

Alas, it gets better! At the very end of the article, the author makes a PDF version of it available for download (just click on the words CLICCARE QUI and away you go).

I want to add, though, that it IS possible to put on a new shutter wheel belt without removing the assembly at all... I just did this a couple weeks ago with great success. It takes dexterity and patience, but it is possible (and far less frightening). The trick is to apply superglue to a small spot on the wheel, and glue the belt to that spot... then slowly and carefully rotate the wheel by hand and slide the belt along the surface... eventually the glued-on spot will come around and you can then pull the last remaining bit of belt onto the wheel. After that, lift the belt up every inch or so and apply another small dab of superglue, until you've "fixed" it permanently into place around the entire wheel. DONE. [Smile]

Hello Ugo,
I went to see the site where you describe the disassembling of the obturator on St1200! Is it possible for you to make some in the same way for the disassembling of the main board of Gs1200? I would wish to dismount it and to address it to you for repairing of the relays!
Thank you very much!
Best regard

Dear Antoine,
I read your post, but I'm not sure the defect of your GS is on the main board...

Dear Ugo,
When one puts the reverse gear one supports on button REV and,si everything works well, the principal engine of the projo is started. And it is not started in my case! Only if I clean with my product the relay or if I slightly press on the side this relay! For the remainder all functions normally!
