Hi,

I've got marketing's three-parter of "Brust oder Keule" (German title for "L'aile ou la cuisse" or "The Wing and the Thigh" with Louis de Funès).
The print and edit is great, but it lacks several very funny scenes - 3x 120m are only approx. 60 minutes of film, while the theatrical release was 104 minutes long.
Hence my question: Was/Is there a full length version of this film? Or is there any one- or two-parter with missing scenes that can be cut into this three-parter?

While thinking about this... "Vier im roten Kreis" ("Le cercle rouge"/"The Red Circle") seems to be the only French film with a German soundtrack that is sold as a full-length airline-print. All other films with Louis de Funès, Alain Delon, Gerard Depardieu, Yves Montand, Jean-Paul Belmondo, ... only seem to available as 3*120m at best [Frown]

And what about newer films like "Le pacte des loups", "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" or "Taxi" - is any of them available as a full-length super8-feature?

I don't know about a full-length version of "L'aile ou la cuisse", but there were full-lenghth prints of other films starring Louis de Funès:

-La grande vadrouille (Film Office)
-Le corniaud (Film Office)
-Les aventures de Rabbi Jacob (Optical sound "airline" print in English; entitled "The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob")
-Le petit baigneur (Silma; Italian print)
-Jo (French sound with Dutch subtitles; offered on eBay a short time ago)

Apart from "Vier im roten Kreis/Le cercle rouge" there were at least two other French movies available in full length German airline prints (all on estar stock with dual magnetic sound):

-Le sauvage (Die schönen Wilden/The Savage, 1975)
-La route de Salina (Straße nach Salina/Road to Salina, 1970).

Full length versions of French films with German sound were also offered by Ullstein AV (on estar stock with optical sound):

-Tendre voyou (Geliebter Schuft/Tender Scoundrel, 1966)
-La grande sauterelle (Ein Mädchen wie das Meer, 1967)

I think there must be still some more...
