Winbert,
"Richard Pryor: Live in Concert" was released in the theatres in 1979. Pryor is brilliant in this film, which set the standard for the stand up performance films/tv specials that now seem to be on cable 24 hours a day. This is actually a 4 parter, and the color on my prints have held up nicely. I'm sure this was an easy choice to make for Universal 8, it being easier to edit self contained comic segments than a narrative feature. Pryor is funny no matter what format he's on.

Adrian,
I haven't watched all 4 in one sitting for some time. I do pull the odd reel out every so often or include one of the reels during a show. Each part stands on it's own.
