Well,
I found out why the two K-40 cartridges I sent to Kodak a month ago have been out so long.
Despite sending them to the exact same address I've been using for over a year, they got bounced back from Kodak in Dallas with "We do not provide processing for old or incompatible films", even though Kodak in Switzerland is accepting them until the 25th.
(ARRRRRGH!!!)
So it looks like it's off to the Post Office tomorrow morning for airmail to Switzerland.
What's the address?
Thanks!

Hi David,
Thanks for your help!
I just checked with the US Postal Service website. Shipping to Switzerland in time will cost more than simply sending them to Dwayne's and paying for processing. (...again!)
-Odd coincidence how that worked out.... No??

I have sent direct to Switzerland several times, but was told the local Australian address was still active so I sent my last few rolls to that one. I received them back this week. There would be people all over the world scrambling to send in the last few rolls of Super 8 to Kodak this week.
It is sad to think that this is the last Kodak processed Super 8 after all those years. In fact my dad shot us (with a camera, not a gun) growing up on standard 8 and then we bought new Super 8 gear.
I have kept several rolls of Kodachrome sound stock to continue with my kids growing up, but have now switched to the new 64T Ektacrome stock for all my silent films.
